Indian Summer makes use of one of the world's most costly spices by weight, saffron. The pricey spice is infused into the gin, which has imparted intense, sweet and subtly earthy notes. It was bottled by Duncan Taylor.
Style: London Dry
Key Botanicals: Angelica bark, almonds, coriander seed, cassia, juniper berries, lemon peel, liquorice root, saffron, orris root and orange peel.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: A soft and well balanced nose of citrus orange, coriander, lemon peel and saffron.
Palate: Smooth and sweet with spiced orange peel, coriander, pink peppercorns and lemon zest wrapped in a blanket of saffron.
Finish: Rich and warming.
