Bottling Notes:
Summerhall Distillery have taken their celebrated original 1947 recipe and infused it with indigenous Scottish botanicals, before distilling, bottling and corking by hand at their Edinburgh HQ.
An incredibly complex gin, bursting with flavour thanks to the Scottish flavours of pine, heather, milk thistle and bog myrtle giving an earthy and floral twist to the original Bombay-style recipe. An excellent base for a Scots Martini, or a G&T garnished with apple and blackberries.
Style: London Dry
Key Botanicals: heather, milk thistle, bog myrtle and Scots Pine
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dominant pine notes flood the nose, while earthy heather follows on.
Palate: Scots pine strengthens the energised juniper, followed by delicate floral tones with a definite punch of lemony citrus.
Finish: Emerging sweetness shines through to reveal a delicately smooth finish.
