We are delighted to present to you the next release of Ardnahoe Islay Single Malt Bholsa, which joins Infinite Loch as part of the distillery's core lineup of bottlings.
Ardnahoe Bholsa has been matured predominantly in Oloroso sherry casks, without artificial colouring or chill-filtration. Bottled at a 'preferred drinking strength' of 50% ABV.
Named after the spectacular ‘Bholsa’ caves, close to the distillery on Islay, a visit here leaves a lasting impression. Now, the casks used in its maturation have made their own impression on this whisky, contributing rich notes of peat smoked raisins soaked in Oloroso. A rich reward indeed.

Nose: Red fruits, walnuts, orange zest and peat smoke
Palate: Raisins, dates and ripe plums underpinned by Islay peat
Finish: Long, peppery finish
