Mossburn Dupont Cask Finish is an annual Cask Collaboration Series.
The spirit started life as a classic expression of Speyside Malt Whisky, first aged for more than 12 years in and hand picked from 18 different casks of diffeent types.
The collaboration with the Dupont family, Calvados producers in Normandy's Pays D'Auge since 1887, is the second of the series and follows the hugely popular Foursquare Rum release.
Cask Type: Dupont Calvados finish.
Tasting Notes:
Expect notes of honeyed florality, baked red apples, and vanilla cream, with hints of pink peppercorn and ginger from the Calvados cask finish, all beautifully balanced with the rich, malty character of Speyside.
