Pronounced “tree ka-rah. Tri Carragh translates to three pillars in Gaelic. Symbolising the three simple ingredients of water, barley and yeast that are masterfully combined to create Single Malt Whisky.
This exquisite single cask bottling from Tri Carragh of a 27 year old Bowmore was matured in an Ex-Sherry Cask.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: The nose is initially floral and sweet with lavender and Parma Violets. This is followed by sticky bbq sauce smothered over grilling ribs, smoked over a charcoal fire with a hint of sweet tobacco.
Palate: The smoked barbeque flavours continue along with a spicy notes of red peppercorns. Hints of cherry to finish. Water brings the smoke to the forefront along with an increase in delicious sweetness. On the reduced palate the complexity of flavour only increases with floral notes appearing on the taste with hickory sauce (maple wood sweetness).. mouthwatering!
