Bottling Notes:
Only the finest grade Caribbean Rum makes it over swell and through storm to grow old in the heart of Scottish Whisky country. Specialist maturation gives this rum a rich decadence with sweet caramel and creamy toffee notes. The unique blend of Speyside and Highland casks brings out the best of each of the cask characters - the sum is most definitely greater that that of the constituent parts.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Light and citrusy, fresh with oak and woody notes ending with vanilla and candied orange.
Palate: Very smooth, rich beginning with vanilla then runs into toffee with hints of candied apple and candy floss. Citrusy orange flows into pear notes and further candied apple, toffee and caramel. At the end you can find some coconut or creamy butter notes with a hint of baking spice and raisin.
