This coastal Speysider known for its important role in many of Diageo’s blended whiskies has spent more than 3 years in oloroso casks sourced from Hidalgo cooperage in Spain has offered the spirit a softer side of ex-sherry with more of a toffee and caramel character rather than the expected Christmas cake and dried fruit notes.
