Bottling Notes:
This wine is from Fruili DOC in the north of Italy, situated between the Alps and the Adriatic. The climactic influences here allow for grapes like Pinot Noir to thrive. When making this wine, extended maceration is undertaken for 20-25 days at controlled temperatures of 26° to 28° C. After its alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation is induced with subsequent aging on fine lees. This wine has some ageing potential and is recommended to be served at 14-16 degrees Celsius.
