Bottling Notes:
Single cask bottling from Berry Bros. & Rudd of Aberdeenshire’s Ardmore Distillery. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023, this 10 year old whisky has spent its full maturation in a single Sherry Butt.
The distillery, nestled in the quiet Aberdeenshire town of Kennethmont, was the last of Scotlands distilleries to move away from direct coal firing, and was also one of the last to have a full time cooperage on site.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Earthy wood smoke, ash, hessian, kippers, and digestive biscuits, mingle with great balance with a hint of tobacco and fruit cake appearing after some time in the glass.
Palate: The palate is tremendously smoky, yet still very subtle, with notes of cedar, smoked straw, pipe tobacco and lime zest.
Finish: Woodland bonfire last long on the palate.
