Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at Inverurie Whisky Shop. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Unfortunately due to changes in shipping to the EU regulations and prices during the Covid pandemic, we have been forced to temporarily increase our prices.
Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
We do our best to ensure that all orders are processed within 1 business day. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
Delivery times vary from 1 - 5 business days, depending on your location and shipping selection. Tracking details will be emailed once the order has been dispatched.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
We can arrange collection at weekends for European Packages at an additional cost of £19.00 per pick up. Please contact us directly to arrange this service.
Inverurie Whisky Shop ships to addresses within the U.K and EU Countries.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
If an item is returned to us undamaged due to a failed delivery, the item may be refunded however the shipping will not be.
International Customs, Duties and Taxes

Inverurie Whisky Shop is not responsible for any customs, duties and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)
Some countries have different rules on the importation of alcohol. It is the responsibility of the customer to know these rules prior to confirming the order. We will not issue refunds for returned items due to these rules being broken. For further information we recommend that you contact your local customs/government office
All additional charges are entirely the responsibility of the importer/customer/recipient.
It is the responsibility of the importer/buyer to ensure that taxes and duties are paid for on request. These fees are not included in purchase from Inverurie Whisky Shop.
We will dispatch to your country at the buyers risk, and we cannot guarantee delivery.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that any product that is purchased from us is insured against accidental damage / breakage during shipment.
Inverurie Whisky Shop cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred in international transit
Customs may impound, seize or open for inspection, resulting in a delay in delivery to you. We will do our best to inform you of any such delays.
Please be aware that Customs may destroy the package. Inverurie Whisky Shop cannot be held responsible and as a result no refund will be given.
If your order is returned to us by any customs or any authorities, then we will refund the value of the items, however Shipping will not be refunded.
If your order is returned to us in a damaged condition we will take images of the damaged parcel ready for your own insurers.
If an item is returned to us due to a failed delivery, the item will be refunded however the shipping will not be.
Please ensure that someone over the age of 18 (or legal consent in your country) is available to collect the parcel. Tracking and updates will be sent to you via email.
We may contact you to collect extra shipment fees if your order is unusually large or heavy.
No insurance is available from Inverurie Whisky Shop on goods damaged in transit. It is the responsibility of the customer/importer/buyer to ensure that you have taken out personal insurance on your products.
Damages
Inverurie Whisky Shop is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
If your order is returned to us in a damaged condition we will take images of the damaged parcel ready for your own insurers.
