In the North East , a feering is the first furrow ploughed, which acts as a guide for all the rest. “The Feering” is the first of a series of three limited edition blended malts, using single casks from the distilleries surrounding The Cabrach distillery. Each one was carefully selected and curated by Alan Winchester, these rare expressions are bound together by one common purpose: the restoration of a proud whisky community.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Gentle floral, heathery tones and notes of honey combine with the distant hint of drying embers on a bothy hearth.
Palate: The nose continues on the palate. Fresh butterscotch combines with sweet vanilla and heather. the hint of sweet smoke continues, subtle in the background.
Finish: The finish is clean and fresh, leaving just enough to tempt you back for another taste.
